Overwhelming Generosity - ThankYou

The organising committee wishes to acknowledge the record number of sponsors who have thrown their support behind this year’s Top of the Town Ball being held on Saturday, October 16.

This year’s fundraising is to go towards the $600,000 for the digitisation of theatre equipment at Hamilton Base Hospital, which will establish the hospital as a Regional Centre of Excellence for keyhole and endoscopic surgery.

Jigsaw Farms, as a Top of the Town Ball sponsor, generously donated tickets for a competition to win 10 double tickets to The Ball.

Entrants were asked to write in 25 words or less  why they should be eligible to win the tickets and the response was fantastic. The letters ranged from the lyrical, the comic and even the poetic and it was an incredibly difficult task for the five judges to pick just 10 winners. In the end the lucky winners were Amelia Georgiadis, Brian Guy, Robyn Agnew, Barry Pech, Andrew Povey, Genevieve MacDonald, Liz Beavis, Wolfgang Schueller, David Young and Val Wilkinson.

In another fantastic gesture by sponsor Health Super, WDHS Health Super fund members could enter a staff raffle to win double tickets. Another three lucky people won double tickets to Ball.
