Fundraising goal for 2010 Top of the Town Charity

The WDHS Top of the Town committee has selected a digital technology system as their 2010 fundraising goal. The system involves an upgrade to digitised theatre equipment.

This upgrade, at a cost of $600,000, will make Hamilton Base Hospital one of the first regional/rural hospitals in Victoria to have such technology, and will establish the hospital as a Centre for Excellence in laparoscopic (keyhole) and endoscopic (with use of a camera) surgery.
